We have had the pleasure of working with Kate since 2018. She has great energy and passion about what she does and she takes on each child who comes to her for help as her own. Oscar loves Kate and they work really well together. Instead of dreading therapy he looks forward to it which is an absolute game changer. She motivates him through his own special interests and games which he really enjoys. His progression with Kate has been incredible. In 2018 he had approximately 60 words. Object words that we had been labelling for him eg drink apple shoes etc.
Now Oscar has too many words to count and is working on the exceptions to the rule for grammar (higher language skills) eg man,men, mouse mice. Each child and family has different challenges and Kate respects that. She's an amazing SLT and will always be one of those key people in Oscars life that we will forever appreciate her commitment kindness and support. We highly recommend her to any family in need of an SLT.

Our daughter Sara has been attending session with Kate Speech and Language therapist for over 1 year and we want to share with other parents about our experience with Kate. From the first session they have built a great relationship and she is fully engaged during each session which we believe is down to Kate’s natural ability and love for her profession. Kate really understood Sara’s personality and engaged with her in a way to really get most of the sessions and made it fun for. The difference and improvement in that one year in regard to her language and social skills has been fantastic.
Kate was determined to find materials and teach my daughter to comprehend better which helped develop her reading skills. Kate provided support in developing lots of areas of her language along with pre-phonological skills which has really supported her learning to read.
Sara became a more confident with her speech and language skills.
We want to thank Kate for helping us navigate a difficult situation with as much ease and reassurance as possible. She coaches us in how we can complete therapy with Sara at home and gives us advice when dealing with schools etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kate to any parent looking for support for their child!

Kate worked with our daughter from when she was three years old. She quickly put her at ease and got the best out of the sessions. She is extremely capable, approachable and maintains a positive outlook, and she listened carefully to our concerns.
